Jefferson Street Baptist Center exists to make the entire good news of Jesus Christ known to the homeless of Louisville – meeting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs.

The needs of homeless people run from skin to soul. Men and women are both physical and spiritual creatures. The needs of all people require a love that is both physical and spiritual – love that is full of both word and deed.

This is manifested through the relationships that exist between God, guests, residents, staff and volunteers. JSBC has 4 programs that seek to minister to the needs of the homeless.
