The needs of homeless people run from skin to soul. Men and women are both physical and spiritual creatures. The needs of all people require a love that is both physical and spiritual – love that is full of both word and deed.
Jefferson Street Baptist Center exists to make the entire good news of Jesus Christ known to the homeless of Louisville – meeting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. This is manifested through the relationships that exist between God, guests, residents, staff and volunteers. JSBC has 4 programs that seek to minister to the needs of the homeless.
