There are a variety of ways your group, small or large, can be involved with serving the homeless.
Volunteer in Day Shelter
Groups of up to 6 people
Preparing and Serving Meals
Groups of up to 20 people
Aesthetic Labor (Painting, Laying Tile, Demolition, Rearranging)
Groups of up to 50 people
Groups that live in Louisville often volunteer the same time and day each week or month.
Louisville-area groups that want to volunteer should contact Jessica Rood.
Non-Louisville-area groups that want to volunteer should contact Darrell Johnson.
Groups that want to specifically serve a meal should contact Emily Shemwell.
APPLICATION PROCESS: We ask that groups designate 1 leader for every 8 people volunteering. We ask that these leaders fill out and submit the volunteer application.
