OUR PROGRAMS
In the Spring of 2004, JSBC initiated the Permanent Supportive Housing Program for formerly homeless men with a dual-diagnosis. This program provides 11 efficiency apartments, a community room, and laundry facilities, along with the necessary support services to men who have demonstrated a lasting commitment to maintaining their mental health stability and sobriety. These men are able to obtain necessary services that are easy to access, including case management and professional treatment.
The construction was generously funded by Long Run Baptist Association, HUD, the Kentucky Housing Corporation, the Coalition for the Homeless (CDBG), Foundations, Churches, and Individuals.
